Can I do Pilates when I’m pregnant?
Yes Pilates is perfect for pregnancy and is a safe gentle way to prepare your body for labor, as well as helping your body recover from labor.
All prenatal clients must start with a private session for their first studio class. Please note that a certificate from your treating doctor may be required before you start classes. Postnatal clients may attend private sessions after 6 weeks following labor, and should wait at least 12 weeks before attending group classes.
Please note Cardio Flow is not suitable for pregnant women.
Can I do Reformer Pilates if I’ve never done Pilates before?
Yes you can. However, we always recommend doing a private session first so that we can cover the essential basics before you go into a group class situation. In your private, we will teach you how to engage your core muscles correctly and how to use the Pilates Reformer machines.
I have an injury – can I still do attend the studio?
It does depend on the nature of the injury. It is best to consult with your doctor beforehand, and of course, definitely discuss with us prior to your first class. Class exercises can often be adapted to take your injury into account.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable active wear that you are free to move in. If you are doing a Pilates Reformer class you will need Pilates socks, which are available for purchase at the studio.

We maintain a 12 hour cancellation policy to ensure the quality of our service. If you give less than 12 hours or do not show up to your scheduled class, you will forfeit your class payment.
If your ideal class time is fully booked, we recommend adding yourself to the wait-list. When a position opens, you will be notified of availability by email and you can select to book the class.
All packages are for individual use and therefore can not be shared and are non-transferable.
We recommend new clients take a private session to learn the ropes, moves and machines.
Please arrive five minutes prior to class to settle in. If you’re a first time client, please allow 10 minutes to sign in.
Lateness can be disruptive to the class and can be a safety issue.
Please be on time. We want you to get the most out of your class or session.
Pilates socks are required for all Reformer sessions for the benefit of all clients using the equipment. Socks can be purchased at the studio.
