A journey towards moving and living with less pain

Rachel is an Osteopath passionate about supporting patients on their journey towards moving and living with less pain. With a warm and empathetic nature, she aims to help identify the cause of the problem and co-create a treatment plan that will inspire patients to play an active role in their recovery.

With a background as a yoga teacher and competitive gymnast she has a great appreciation for human movement. She incorporates her knowledge of pain medicine and biomechanics with a holistic body-mind approach to treatment, educating patients on how mindfulness and meditation can improve recovery from pain and injury.

A passionate ongoing learner, she has lectured at both RMIT and VU in anatomy and physiology and has completed professional development in the areas of sports rehabilitation, osteopathy in the Cranial Field and Pediatric/Obstetric osteopathy.

Rachel treats a diverse range of patients, from sports injuries through to pregnancy related strain. Her areas of special interest include:

Rachel is a fully qualified osteopath registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She attended the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Comp. Med) and a Masters of Osteopathy in 2010.
